This project is a massive milestone for Knotted Tree Studios. It was our first major production after our hiatus and the moment I proved that this path is exactly where we belong. I had a concept burning in the back of my mind for months, a "wild hair" idea that needed to be brought into the physical world.

Through a mutual friend, I connected with Theresa at LUXE Loft Modeling Agency in San Antonio. After seeing the portfolio, she pointed me directly toward Nyeusi Almasi. It was a perfect match. Nyeusi is a creative powerhouse who took the vision and the storyboards and breathed life into them.

THE PSYCHOLOGICAL EVOLUTION

We didn't set out to make something pretty or generic. The goal was to track a physiological shift through the lens. We started with a character and watched her unravel into a calculated, psychopathic killer. Nyeusi’s ability to transform on camera was incredible, making the "Taboo made elegant" style a reality.

THE WORK

Six hours in the trenches resulted in a cinematic narrative and a fine art gallery that doesn't follow trends. We don't hide the scars, we light them.
