Wedding Photography Project At Blora
We shot a wedding out at Blora recently, right by Belton Lake, for Brittany—a client we’ve known for years. When she called me up and said she wanted Knotted Tree Studios to handle her big day, I was pumped. She mentioned she and her groom were showing up on horses, and that sealed it—this was going to be a good one.
Brittany’s been with us before. She’s easygoing, trusts our eye, and doesn’t mind us doing things our way. Hearing from her again felt like old times, and Blora was the perfect spot for it. Wide open, rough around the edges, with plenty of light to work with. It fit her, and it fit us.

The horses were the kicker. Brittany and her groom rode in, no fuss, just them and the sound of hooves on dirt. It wasn’t some grand entrance—just two people ready to get married, doing it their way. We had our cameras ready, grabbing shots as they came up, dust trailing behind them. Her veil moved a little in the wind; he looked at her like nothing else mattered. The whole thing was quick, real, and done.

It was a solid day. Brittany and her groom made it theirs, Blora set the scene, and we got the shots. I’m happy with how it all came together, and it’s because she let us roll with it. To her and her new family: hope the years ahead treat you well. You’ve earned it.
