A Creative Collaboration with Exec Automotive
I've started to gravitate towards car photography. The stories that can be told with just a bare drive are endless. Recently, we had the privilege of working with Exec Automotive, a luxury car rental company that prides itself on offering the ultimate driving experience. When Exec Automotive's owner approached us to create stunning visuals for their fleet—a Corvette Stingray, a Range Rover SVR Carbon Edition, and an Alfa Romeo Q4—we knew we were in for an exciting and dynamic project.
Exec Automotive didn't just want standard vehicle photos—they wanted storytelling. This allowed us to be creative and think outside the box to bring these vehicles to life. We developed unique narratives for each car, highlighting its personality and the experiences it inspires.
The Corvette Stingray
This was styled as the ultimate symbol of sophistication and excitement. Our narrative featured a classy businessman arriving at the airport, seamlessly transitioning from a jet-set lifestyle into the driver's seat of this sleek performance machine. From its roaring RPMs to its iconic curves, every shot emphasized speed, luxury, and elegance.
The Range Rover SVR Carbon Edition
The Range (my personal favorite) became the centerpiece of a night on the town. We brought an elegant couple dressed to the nines and captured their journey through a vibrant cityscape. The Range Rover's commanding presence and luxury interior were perfectly matched with nightlife scenes, ending with a grand arrival at a prestigious event.
The Alfa Romeo Q4
This one was framed as the perfect escape for an influential, independent entrepreneur. We crafted a story about breaking free from the daily grind, with Q4 taking her from the bustling city to a serene countryside retreat. This narrative highlighted the car's elegance, versatility, and ability to connect its driver with adventure.
The Creative Process
What made this project truly special was the chance to collaborate with an exceptional team of models. Their professionalism and energy brought each narrative to life, adding depth and character to every scene. From laughing and flirting in the Range Rover to confidently striding toward the Alfa Romeo, their performances elevated the final visuals to something extraordinary.
We incorporated advanced techniques such as light painting to highlight the intricate details of each vehicle. By creatively manipulating lighting and shadows, we emphasized features ranging from the bold taillights of the Stingray to the sleek carbon fiber accents of the Range Rover. These cinematic touches enabled us to capture the cars in a manner that was not only visually striking but also emotionally engaging.
